Langtang is one of the most popular trekking regions for both the short and medium range treks in Nepal with many attractions: scenic grandeur, glimpse of Sherpa & Tamang life, rhododendron forest, lakes, glaciers & snow mountains. The trek begins from Dhunche/Syabru and the trail leads up to Kyanchin Gompa passing through one of the finest valleys in the world, Langtang, passes the sacred lake, Gosainkunda (4602m.) or Ganjala Pass for more adventurous trekking. Langtang-Helambu trek offers superb panoramic views of Himalayas stretching from the Annapurnas to Mt. Everest.
