Annapurna Circuit Trekking Route Details
Annapurna circuit trekking begins with the drive to Bhulbhule and follows up the Marshyangdi River Valley. We have designed the itinerary of trekking to Annapurna circuit by avoiding the walk as much as possible on the road. From upper Pisang, we take you to remote place, Ghyaru and Ngawal, completely different route from the classing trekking route. A visit to ancient gompas in the remote villages enhances the cultural insight of Buddhism in this remote region.
Annapurna circuit trekking leads to Manang Valley, a place to marvel at the snow capped peaks towering above the valley and sensational landscape. The cluster of houses built in this ancient village amazes you for its architecture.
The adventurous ascending to Thorung La Pass (5416m.) and the spectacular views of mountain ranges from the pass are the highlights of Annapurna circuit trekking. The descent through steep and rough trail touches to Mustang region and takes to Muktinath, the famous Hindu pilgrimage site. The descent following ancient trade route with Tibet takes you to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Greeting at the airport in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Briefing of the trip at the convenient time.
Day 02: Kathmandu Beshisahar Khudi ( 790m. ): 8 hrs.
Drive to Besi Sahar (157 km. 5 hrs. ). Commence the trek following deep river gorge and arrive at Khudi.
Day 03: Khudi Bahundanda ( 1310m. ); 5 6 hrs.
Hike north up the valley passing several suspension bridges and beautiful waterfalls to Bahundanda.
Day 04: Bahundanda Chamje ( 1420m. ); 6 7 hrs.
Ascend to the ridge and further climb along the rhododendron and pine forest to Chamje.
Day 05: Chamje Bagarchhap ( 2160m. ); 6 7 hrs.
Gradual climb with the view of large waterfall and further climbing through forest to Bagarchhap.
Day 06: Bagarchhap Chame ( 2670m. ); 5 6 hrs.
Hike through the forests of pine and fir to Chame with great views of Annapurnas
Day 07: Chame Pisang ( 3169m ); 5 6 hrs.
Hike through the narrow steep sided gorge to a ridge with the view of Manang valley.
Day 08:Pisang Ghyaru ( 36709m. ) Ngawal ( 3657m. ) – Manang ( 3540m. ); 7 8 hrs. Follow a new route to Ghyaru and then to Ngawal, old villages in Tibetan setting with great views of Annapurna ranges.
Day 09: Rest day for acclimatization at Manang.
Explore Manang with spectacular scenery various mountains including Annapurna II, Annapurna III (24,787′), Gangapurna, Tilicho (23,400′), Chulu west.
Day 10: Manang Yak Kharka ( 4018m. ) ; 4 5 hrs.
A pleasant hike along old mani walls, a few pastures, meadows, a scrub of juniper.
Day 11: Yak Kharka Thorung Phedi ( 4450m. ); 3 – 4 hrs.
Gradual climb to Thorung Phedi, the base of the pass.
Day 12: Thorung Phedi Thorung La Pass ( 5416m. ) Muktinath ( 3800m. ); 8 9 hrs.
Gradual climb to the pass (approx. 4 hrs.) and stunning high Himalaya scenery from the pass, descent is steep and rough to Muktinath.
Day 13: Muktinath Jomsom ( 2710m. ); 4 5 hrs.
Descending very quickly to the valley with dramatic arid landscape to Jomsom.
Day 14: Jomsom Kalopani ( 2530m. ) ; 5 6 hrs.
Pass through Marpha and Tukche with a dramatic change in the vegetation.
Day 15: Kalopani Tatopani ( 1190m. ); 6 7 hrs.
The trail descends steadily to Tatopani – means ‘Hot Water’ where hot bath is possible.
Day 16: Tatopani Ghorepani ( 2750m. ); 6 7 hrs.
Steadily climb all day leaving behind the terraced fields and enter thick rhododendron forest.
Day 17: Ghorepani Hille ( 1475m. ) ; 7 8 hrs.
Hike up to Poon Hill, the vantage point to see the Himalaya panorama including Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, Dhaulagir range and descend to Hille.
Day 18: Hille Naya Pool Pokhara; 5 hrs.
Easy walk to Nayapool and take land transportation to Pokhara.
Day 19: Take Land Transport from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Option of driving to Kathmandu by tourist bus for flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant with culture program.
Day 20: Airport Transfer.
Transfer to airport for final departure
The cost includes:
